Improved Weighted Centroid Localization Algorithm Based on Particle Swarm Optimization

Abstract: Focusing on the requirement of low cost and high accuracy in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), an improvement method of weighted centroid localization algorithm which uses the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) to optimize is introduced based on Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI). The new algorithm is easy to achieve and has a few parameters to adjust. Through multiple iterative optimizations, it can improve the localization accuracy. The errors of RSSI distance measurement and localization of each beacon node can be got by measuring the distance and localization between beacon nodes. Simulation result shows that the localization accuracy of the new algorithm is significantly superior to that of centroid localization algorithm and weighted centroid localization algorithm.

摘要: 针对无线传感器网络低成本、高精度的要求,在采用接收信号强度测距的基础上,提出一种基于粒子群优化的改进加权质心定位算法。该算法易于实现,可调参数少,通过多次选代寻优提高定位精度。采用锚节点之间相互测距和定位补偿测距误差和定位误差。仿真结果表明,该算法与质心算法和加权质心定位算法相比,节点定位精度得到显著提高。
