Video Encryption Algorithm Based on H.264 and Rijndael

Abstract: According to the characteristics of network video such as large quantity of data, high requirements of compression and various store styles, this paper presents an encryption algorithm combing Rijndael algorithm with video data compression coding. The video data are encrypted after transformation, quantization and before compression. By using Rijndael algorithm, it recovers the statistical properties of the encrypted data to maintain the same compression ratio with the encoded data which is not encrypted. Experimental results show that the algorithm can improve the security of video data, and ensure quality and high compression ratio of the video.

摘要: 根据网络视频数据量大、压缩率要求高、存储格式多样等特性,提出一种将Rijndael算法与视频数据压缩编码相结合的加密算法。将视频数据进行变换、量化后,在压缩编码之前对其加密,利用Rijndael算法的规律,恢复加密后数据的统计特性,使其与未加密编码数据保持相同的压缩比。实验结果表明,该算法可以在提高视频数据安全性的同时,保证视频质量与较高压缩率。
