Abstract:
This paper proposes an adaptive dual-clocking algorithm, which can effectively solve the problem of light-load deterioration in Ethernet Passive Optical Network(EPON) without increasing the delay of Expedited Forwarding(EF) service, and decrease the delay of Assured Forwarding (AF), Best Effort(BE) and other low-priority services. Its clocking can be changed according to actual situations and it improves the slot waste to a certain extent. A system working model with OPNET is established to realize simulation, the result indicates that the algorithm can decrease the average network delay and enhance the network turnover.

摘要: 提出一种自适应双时序算法,该算法能在不增加EF等高优先级业务时延的前提下,有效解决以太无源光网络中的轻负载恶化问题,降低AF, BE等业务的时延。该算法的时序可以根据实际情况改变,较好地改善了时隙浪费问题。用OPNET软件建立系统实用模型进行仿真,结果表明该算法可以降低平均网络时延,提高网络吞吐量。
