Abstract:
Power management plays an important role in embedded systems. Because of the lack of standard for embedded systems’ power management interface, the portability of embedded operating systems is limited. A unified hardware abstract layer for power management is presented in this paper. In the model, real power manageable components can be organized in virtual power manageable components. Through the unified power status transfer functions; embedded operating systems can manage the power of real or abstract power manageable component without taking care of the details of power management in different hardware platforms. So, the portability of the embedded operating systems is improved.

摘要: 由于缺乏面向嵌入式系统的功耗管理硬件标准接口,嵌入式操作系统在不同硬件平台上的功耗管理功能缺乏可移植性。该文针对嵌入式系统提出了一种功耗管理硬件抽象层模型,同时引入了抽象功耗可管理组件模型,为操作系统提供了统一的功耗状态转移函数。基于此抽象层,可屏蔽不同硬件结构的功耗管理细节,有效地提高嵌入式操作系统的可移植性。
