Embedded Power Management Scheme Based on Monahans

基于Monahans的嵌入式电源管理方案

Abstract: Aiming at a new Monahans processor, this paper proposes a power management scheme combining with its own power management function and relative content of power management subsystem in Linux. The scheme can monitor system operating states in real time in order to dynamically decrease frequency and voltage of system operating, process conversion of power states. Application result proves that the scheme can decrease power of system, extend using time of battery.

摘要: 针对新推出的Monahans处理器,结合其自带的电源管理功能和Linux电源管理子系统的相关内容,提出电源管理方案。该方案能实时监控系统的运行状态,从而动态地降低系统运行的频率和电压,进行各电源状态的转换。应用结果证明该方案能减小系统功耗,延长电池使用时间。
