Abstract: This paper analyzes both the spatial and temporal interpolation methods and proposes an efficient new motion and texture adaptive de-interlacing algorithm based on the H.264 encoding. The picture is classified into three regions: motion region, static texture region and static smooth region based on the analysis of motion estimation, motion compensation and intra-prediction. Methods of ELA, VT and LA are used to do the region de-interlacing work. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm works well in both motion and static pictures, it restrains the effects of line-crawling and fake-shadow brought by the probable bad motion detection effectively and provides better quality.

摘要: 在分析空间和时间二维插值去隔行算法特点的基础上,提出一种基于H.264编码的运动及纹理自适应去隔行算法。对H.264编码过程中的运动估计、运动补偿和帧内预测结果进行研究,将视频序列划分为运动区域、静止纹理复杂区域和静止纹理简单区域,分别采用沿自适应插值、竖直时域滤波和行平均插值方法进行去隔行处理。实验结果表明,该算法在处理运动区域和静止区域图像时,能有效抑制由于运动检测失误造成的梳齿和虚影问题,提升图像质量。
