摘要: 传统的拓扑发现方法是基于SNMP 协议的,但它受到部署和权限等方面的限制。该文讨论了基于ICMP 协议的拓扑发现系统的设计构架和关键技术,针对校园网实现了此系统,并展示了拓扑发现所得到的结果。实验结果证明了该系统所采用算法的可行性和通用性。

Abstract: Traditional topology discovering algorithms are based on SNMP, which is restricted by deployment and authorization. This paper discusses the architecture and some key techniques in constructing a topology discovering system based on ICMP. This system is developed targeted at campus network. The results of experimentation are presented on a map. It shows that the methods and discovery principles taken by the topology discovering system are feasible and general
