摘要: 提出了一种基于IXP2400 网络处理器的高性能IPv4/IPv6 互通网关设计方案,阐述了NAT-PT 转换机制中协议地址翻译、映射表管理和应用层网关技术的实现方法,研究了网络处理器环境下硬件资源分配,内部通信机制等问题。性能测试结果验证了设计方案的有效。

Abstract: This paper addresses how to use IXP2400, a kind of network processor, to build a high performance IPv4/IPv6 translation gateway. A detailed analysis of protocol address translation, table management and ALG about NAT-PT are then introduced. Some issues of network processor,such as hardware resource allocation and communication mechanism are discussed. The measurement of performance test proves the system’s efficiency.
