摘要： SOAP 协议提供一种新的RPC 手段，有助于实现事件通知，在一定范围内能改善CORBA/DCOM 技术的不足。文章分析了CORBA/DCOM 的局限性，在该基础上提出了一个新的事件通知模型，并结合实例深入分析了如何运用SIP 和SOAP 构造事件通知系统。

Abstract: SOAP helps to realize event notification by supporting a new RPC method. It can improve the limitation of CORBA and DCOMsystems to a certain extent. This paper analyzes the limitation of CORBA and DCOM systems first of all. Further, it puts forward a new model ofevent notification. Finally, it analyzes how to construct event notification system using SIP and SOAP based on an example.
