摘要： 基于Web 的系统管理标准WBEM 提出后，DMTF 组织针对服务器管理和诊断都进行了相应的扩展，并提出了CDM 的概念。CIM/WBEM 的分布式和面向对象的特点为CDM 集成各种硬件平台下的硬件诊断提供了可能。该文给出了一个分布式硬件诊断系统模型，并详细讨论了设计和实现。

Abstract: Owing to the platform dependency in server diagnostic field, each IHV and ISV has its distinct diagnostic software structures. This phenomenon has lasted for a long time until the occurrence of WBEM. DMTF organization adds detailed extension for WBEM in server management and diagnostic, also documents the concept of CDM. The object-oriented and distributed concepts of CIM/WBEM make it possible for effectively integrating all types of diagnostic services.
