Abstract: Cluster system, realized by senior computer or RISC workstations through local internet’s connection, has put the high characteristic computers from research and practise area to the common area. This paper introduces how to establish Beowulf cluster system under Linux incommon PC which is based on distributed memory structure. Tests using a parallel computing algorithm measure the parallel efficiency of this Beowulf system. Results show that this Beowulf system could run high parallel computing efficiency and parallel speedup.
