Design of Deep Seafloor Observatory Network Based on Underwater Junction Box

摘要: 针对深海海底环境的长期连续观测问题,设计一种基于水下接驳盒的深海海底观测网络。该网络由基站监控中心、水下接驳盒和海底观测传感器3个部分组成。采用嵌入式工控机和单片机相结合的方法,实现水下接驳盒的数据采集和电能管理,并给出系统的硬件、软件设计方案。实验结果证明,该系统适用于深海海底高压特殊环境下长期连续的实时观测。

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of long-term continuous observation for deep seafloor environment, a deep seafloor observatory network based on underwater junction box is designed. The deep seafloor observatory network consists of shore station control center, underwater junction box and seafloor observatory sensors. Embedded industrial personal computer and microcontroller unit are used to implement data collection and electric energy management for underwater junction box. This paper focuses on the hardware and software design scheme of the deep seafloor observatory network. Experimental result shows that the system can be used for the long-term continuous real-time observation in the special high-pressure deep seafloor environment.
