Abstract: This article puts a better classification criterion and a more integrated and systematic classification chart of VPN, emphatically evaluates the different VPNs after briefly discussing every VPN. Then the merits and drawbacks of several VPNs are compared in greater detail, including MPLS VPN and IPSec VPN, IPSec VPN and SSL VPN.

摘要： 给出了一个比较好的VPN分类标准，提出了一个较为完整和系统的VPN系统分类图。在介绍每种VPN的基础上，阐述了对各种VPN特点的评价，并比较了MPLS VPN与IPSec VPN、IPSec VPN与SSL VPN的优缺点。
