摘要: 深入探讨了DirectX9.0 开发工具包中DirectPlay 技术的主要特点及其所支持的两种通信模式,提出了基于DirectPlay 实现多媒体网络教室中数据传输及组群管理功能的实现方案。实践证明,该方案可以使用户更充分地利用网络资源,节省带宽,让更多的计算机参与到网络教室中。此外,还探讨了DirectPlay 与Windows Socket 编程的异同。

Abstract: This paper studies the key characters of DirectPlay and communication mode in depth and presents the realization scheme of the network transfers and group management in multimedia network classroom based on the DirectPlay interface of DirectX development kit. The result is proved satisfied by system practice. The scheme makes good use of network and allows more computers participated in the network classroom. In addition, the difference between DirectPlay and Windows Socket programming interface is discussed.
