摘要： 在回顾了IEEE 802.11 MAC 协议的基础上，讨论并分析了即将定稿的IEEE 802.11e 的基于竞争的信道访问工作机制下MAC 协议对QoS 的支持。

Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the legacy 802.11, describes and discusses the enhanced contention-based medium access schemes of the upcoming new standard IEEE 802.11e and its capability to provide QoS support.
