摘要: 利用嵌入式隐马尔可夫模型(Embedded Hidden Markov Models,E-HMM)对指纹方向场进行建模分析,通过合理地抽取指纹的类型特征,构造观察向量、进行建模训练,然后利用训练好的马尔可夫模型进行匹配,提出并实现了一种新的鲁棒性强且精度较高的指纹匹配方法。

Abstract: A novel method of fingerprint matching, which is based on embedded hidden Markov model (E-HMM) used for modeling the fingerprint’s orientation field is described. The accurate and robust fingerprint matching can be achieved by matching E-HMM parameters which are built after the processing of extracting features from a fingerprint, forming the samples of observation vectors and training the E-HMM parameters.
