摘要: 如何有效地解决I/O 瓶颈问题,一直是高性能并行计算机有待解决的关键技术。该文提出了一种高效共享的并行I/O 系统——HPPIO,该系统基于CC-NUMA 并行系统结构,采用了一系列高效共享、并行I/O 技术。该文对其分布与集中相结合的高效共享并行I/O系统结构、基于PCI Express 的高性能I/O 控制器设计等进行了介绍。

Abstract: How to solve the I/O bottleneck problem efficiently has always been a key technology under research in high performance parallel computer systems. HPPIO, a new large scale high-performance shared parallel I/O system is introduced in this paper. And a series of high-efficient shared parallel I/O technologies have been adopted in HPPIO system. This paper discusses the distributed and centralized combined shared I/O system architecture, the design and implementation of the high-performance I/O controller based on PCI express interconnection, and so on.
