单幅图像梯度域实时去雾算法

Algorithm of Real-time Defogging in Gradient Domain for Single Image

摘要: 针对现有去雾算法实时性不足的缺陷,同时为了改善目前梯度域去雾算法易产生误差、稳定性较弱的问题,提出一种单幅图像的梯度域实时去雾算法。该算法基于大气光散射模型,根据透射率的估计值直接计算雾天图像的梯度衰减系数,并进行梯度复原。对于图像边界位置上的像素点,先在空间域上进行去雾处理,然后将处理后的像素值作为边界条件,从梯度域重建出最终的复原图像。实验结果表明,该算法能获得较好的去雾效果,且实时性较高。

Abstract: In view of the real-time defects of existing defogging algorithms as well as the error and insufficient stability of gradient domain defogging algorithms,a gradient domain restoration algorithm for a single haze image is put forward in this paper.Based on the atmospheric light scattering model,gradient attenuation of haze image is directly calculated in accordance with the estimated value of transmission,and then gradient domain restoration is proceeded.For the pixels in the image boundary position,defogging is carried out in the space domain.At last,taking the processed value of boundary pixel as the initial condition,the ultimate restoration image is reconstructed from gradient domain.Experimental results show that this algorithm can get good defogging effect and it has high real-time performance.
