摘要: 针对EZW 算法存在的多种不足,在已有的多种改进形式基础上,综合提出了一种新的高频子带重要系数优先扫描机制和两次子带扫描机制,充分利用同一分辨率高频子带间和同一子带内重要系数的相关性,并对零树进行扩展,对EZW 算法作了进一步改进。通过和当前流行的静态图像标准JPEG 及JPEG2000 比较。结果表明,该算法取得了不错的结果,具有一定的可行性。

Abstract: Aiming at the deficiencies of EZW, based on a lot of existing EZW optimized algorithms, the paper combines all these and brings forward a new important coefficients in high frequency bands firstly scanning and encoding mechanism and twice band scanning mechanism, the relation between them with the same resolution and themselves are full used, and extends zero-tree. Through the comparison with JPEG and JPEG2000, the result shows that the algorithm in this paper gets better compressing efficiency and is feasible
