Abstract:
A new mechanism is presented to deal with the dynamically added non-RSVP nodes. When a periodical PATH message arrives an active node where RSVP is not deployed, it will trigger a RANDP (RSVP Active Network Deployment Packet) request-packet. The RANDP request-packet triggered will reach an active node on which RSVP is deployed. The node responses to the RANDP request-packet with a RANDP deploy-packet. Consequently, RSVP can be loaded into the newly added non-RSVP-enabled nodes. The architecture and implementation of RANEE is designed. The formats of the RANDP request-packet and the RANDP deploy-packet are defined. The bandwidth-consumption of this new mechanism is analyzed.

摘要: 提出了一种新的机制来解决在传输路径中加入非RSVP 节点的问题:当周期性的PATH 消息到达一个没有部署RSVP 协议的主动节点时,将触发一个RANDP 请求包,该RANDP 请求包将会到达一个已经部署RSVP 协议的主动节点。该节点将会对RANDO 请求包作出响应,发出一个RANDP 部署包,从而在新的非RSVP 节点加载RSVP 协议。提出了有关部分的设计,定义了RANDP 请求包和部署包的格式,并对新机制的带宽消耗进行了分析。
