Realization of HLA/RTI Distributed Interaction Method in WAN Using VPN Technology

Abstract: According to HLA/RTI standard, the network communication of distributed simulation normally uses multicast method. It is difficulty to complete distributed interaction between simulation nodes using RTI as transmission method in the condition of WAN. The paper constructs the network over network using VPN technology in the WAN to complete the distributed interaction between the simulation nodes. At the same time, the interaction method is programmed and tested. The result indicates that the method is feasible in the condition of WAN.

摘要: 以HLA/RTI 为标准的分布仿真网络通信采用多播方式,在广域网环境下,以RTI 为通信传输机制的仿真节点间的分布交互难以实现。利用VPN 技术在广域网上构建“网上网”,实现广域网条件下仿真节点间的分布交互。同时编程测试了该分布交互方案,结果表明在广域网环境下,使用该方案实现仿真节点间的分布交互是可行的。
