Abstract:
This paper proposes an adaptive RTP/RTCP algorithm of video-on-demand (VoD) after considering the server’s balance, buffer control method of the client and the network congestion control. The results show that the algorithm can ensure a good QoS of the VoD system and a steady code rate.

摘要： 在综合考虑服务器均衡策略、客户机端buffer 控制策略和网络拥塞控制策略后，提出了一种针对视频点播系统的RTP/RTCP 自适应算法。实验结果表明，该算法有效地保证了网络拥塞时的视频点播QoS 质量，并且码率波动平稳。
