Abstract:
Based on Microsoft DirectShow development platform, employing IP multicast technology, a streaming multicast system for AVI files is developed. The coding procedure for realizing the multicasting server and the receiving client in Visual C++ environment is discussed in detail.This system can meet AVI files’ requirement for video on demand.

摘要： 基于微软DirectShow 开发平台，应用IP 组播技术，在局域网上建立了一个AVI 文件的流式组播系统，给出了服务器端和客户端的VC 编码实现。该系统可以满足对AVI 文件的视频点播需求。
