Abstract:
A design scheme for an embedded protocol conversion gateway is proposed as there are many fieldbus protocols coexisting. Thestructures of two widely used fieldbus, i.e., PROFIBUS-DP and MODBUS are analyzed, as well as the data transmission methods and the feasibilityto design the protocol conversion gateway. Based on the analysis results, the circuit design and the workflow of the gateway are presented. Adoptingthe microprocessor S3C4510B has an easy access to the protocol chip ASPC2 of PROFIBUS-DP, and it makes it easy to develop Ethernet interface for long-distance dynamic supervision. The gateway has been put into field area for testing, the results shows that it is reliable and effective

摘要: 针对目前多种现场总线协议共存的现状,提出了一种嵌入式现场总线协议转换网关的设计方案。分析了工控领域广泛应用的现场总线PROFIBUS-DP 与MODBUS 的协议结构与数据传输方法、设计协议转换网关的可行性以及网关的电路设计与工作流程。采用基于ARM7 内核的嵌入式微处理器S3C4510B,该处理器易于与PROFIBUS-DP 协议芯片ASPC2 接口、扩展以太网接口实现对网关的远程动态监控。目前该网关已投入现场试运行,稳定可靠,取得了很好的实效。
