植物叶子枯萎变形虚拟方法研究

Abstract: In order to show the morphological changes during leaf wilting, this paper proposes a new method to model leaf wilting. The method extracts leaf profile using image processing, generates veins using Runions’s method, and generates 2D mesh based on leaf profile and generated veins. Based on this, the paper proposes to control the 2D mesh based on control curves to achieve the bending deformation during leaf wilting, and designs the control curves through experiments. Experimental results show that the method can simulate morphological changes in the process of leaf wilting.

摘要: 为真实表现叶子在枯萎过程中的形态变化,提出一种植物叶子枯萎造型方法。该方法采用图像处理技术提取叶子轮廓,用Runions的方法生成叶脉,基于叶子轮廓和生成的叶脉产生叶子的2D网络,在此基础上提出基于控制曲线控制网格来实现枯萎过程中的弯曲变形,并通过实验设计出控制曲线。实验结果表明,该方法能较好地模拟植物叶子枯萎过程中的形态变化。
