Abstract:
This paper gives an traffic-adaptive MAC protocol based on dynamic duty cycle. Based on S-MAC and TDMA traffic-adaptive MAC protocol, it introduces the dynamic duty cycle mechanism, the original listening/sleep cycle of S-MAC protocol is divided into several short listening/sleep cycles to transmit data repeatedly. Simulation results show that the protocol can effectively lower system delay, maintain higher throughput and achieve smooth switch of protocols when the number of contenders changes.

摘要: 提出一种基于动态占空比的流量自适应MAC协议,在基于S-MAC和TDMA流量自适应MAC协议的基础上,引入动态占空比机制,将原S-MAC协议的侦听/睡眠周期划分为多个短侦听/睡眠周期以实现多次数据传输。仿真结果表明,该协议在多竞争节点情况下能减少系统时延,维持较高的吞吐率,实现协议的平滑切换。
