Abstract:
In the field of multimedia and digital signal processing on embedded applications, FPGAs, DSP and PowerPC AltiVec processors allpresent themselves respective characters and advantages. Therefore, the paper provides technical contrasts in detail between the three processors and their architectures. At last, the paper provides a multi-processor PowerPC architecture model in DSP

摘要: 对于多媒体和数字信号处理等嵌入式应用领域,FPGAs、DSP 和PowerPC AltiVec 处理器都表现出各自的特色和优势,该文对上述3 种处理器本身的特点和它们应用的构架进行对比分析。最后提出了一个多PowerPC 处理器在数字型号处理上的参考模型。
