Abstract: Stream-media and real-time application standing for new network application mode presents challenges to network performance and accurate measurement, which requires ISP provide efficient monitoring means meeting service level agreement. This paper proposes a network performance measurement system named NPMFO(Network Performance Measure Frame) based on One-Way Active Measurement Protocol(OWAMP)), which is an advice of IPPM working group. It discusses the effect of packet distribution and packet size to measurement result. Simulation results validate the methodology selected in the system.

摘要: 根据流媒体和实时应用为代表的新型网络应用模式对网络性能指标和精确测量的要求,参考相关网络性能测量建议,设计基于OWAMP协议的网络性能测量系统,探讨产生测量数据包的不同分布和测量数据包的大小差异对最终测量结果产生的影响等关联测量方法学的问题,并进行仿真评估,验证系统中对若干测量方法学选取的合理性。
