Q: My revision notes mention 'published digitally in advance' - what does this mean? Is there any extra fees for it?
A: “Published digitally in advance” refers to the prioritized online release of articles prior to their formal publication in scheduled print issues, typically several months ahead of the print version. After three weeks of payment of the publication fee, accepted papers can be published on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) digital platform. The journal generally selects high-quality articles for digital publication in advance, and this requires no additional fees. Authors who do not want their articles to be digitally published in advance must send an email (including the manuscript ID and author names for identification) to ecice06@ecice06.com to notify us.
